THE TEMPLE OF WAR
Jude, a middle-class young man, worked for a reputable marketing company. A lucrative contract catapulted him to success, but his fortunes suddenly took a downturn. Seeking answers, he consulted a pastor, who revealed that a deity worshiped in Jude's hometown was the cause of his stagnation.
However, Jude's reaction was swift and decisive. Without hearing the pastor out, he traveled home and demolished the shrine dedicated to the deity, situated behind his family's house. An elderly relative, the oldest surviving family member, warned Jude of the consequences, but he ignored him and left.
Jude's problems escalated. He lost his job without explanation, and his first child died in a tragic accident along with their maid. His wife developed severe hypertension, and Jude felt overwhelmed. Desperate, he returned to the pastor.
Initially, the pastor hesitated to speak with Jude, knowing the judgment he had faced. But after pleas from church members, the pastor revealed the truth. The "deity" was actually the elderly relative, who had been manipulating people into believing the shrine still held power. The spirit had long departed, and the old man sought to exploit Jude's filial duty for his own gain.

The pastor offered Jude two solutions: submit to the old man's demands or seek spiritual resolution through fasting, prayer, and a monetary gift. Jude chose the latter, fasting for seven days and receiving support from church members. He then visited the old man, gifting him the money, and discovered the truth behind the old man's intentions.
With his problems resolved, Jude's wife recovered, and he shared his testimony in church, grateful for the support. He lived a happy life with his wife and surviving daughter, having overcome the war.
